ENTRY PROCEDURE: Enter on line at www.directathletics.com by Tuesday May 10th at 11:59 p.m.  We will e-mail your entries back to you to check for mistakes.  There will be NO ADDITIONS made.  Heat sheets will be posted by Wednesday evening.
 
ELIGIBILITY: 30 Athletes per team – MAXIMUM 3 PER EVENT and 6 WILD CARD ENTRIES *Multi-Event athletes count towards 30 Athlete Roster
 
ENTRY MARKS: Enter all actual marks made in the 2016 season.
 
SCORING: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
 
COACHES MEETING: Thursday May 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the press box at Howard Wood Field (1st floor press box) for scratches.  Any athlete scratched at this time is disqualified from further competition in the meet.
 
THURSDAY PRACTICE: The track will be open for practice from 10:00 am – 3:45 pm. The University of Sioux Falls Outdoor track and field facility is available for pre-meet from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Located at 69th and Cliff Ave.
 
PRE-MEET
ALTERNATIVE TRACK: If there is a conflict with Howard Wood Track for pre-meet on Thursday (possible middle school meet), University of Sioux Falls Outdoor track and field facility is available for pre-meet on Thursday.  Located at 69th and Cliff Ave.
 
TEAM CAMPS: Team Camps will be in grandstands or underneath grandstands.  Please not team camps on the infield.
  
WEIGH-IN: All weigh-ins will take place Thursday at 7:00 pm.  All implements must be dropped off before the head coaches meeting. 

Friday - 8:45-9:00 am:  Impounded hammers may be changed to make length.  We will store and transport implements to throws event area.
 
HIP NUMBERS: Hip numbers will be given at check in for all running events. 
 
STAGING PROCEDURE: 30 min prior to your event on the track, pick up your hip number at the table located at the North end of the track near the Field House.  Check-in with the Clerk of Course at the start area 10 min prior to the start of your event.

FIELD EVENT ATHLETES – check in at your event to the head official 45 minutes prior to your event.
 
PROTESTS: Protests should be made no later than 30 minutes after the results are announced, or within 15 minutes for a preliminary round.  Any such protest must be made in writing by the head coach and submitted to the referee who will consult with the Jury of Appeals.
 
JURY OF APPEALS: Jury to be named at coaches meeting.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the Top 8 Finishers in each individual event and Top 8 Finishers in each relay immediately following the conclusion of each event.  The Team Trophy will be presented to the winning team following the final event.
 
RESULTS: Results will be announced for all events and be posted on the wall of grandstand across from common finish line.  Copies from Friday’s prelims and Saturday’s heats will be available for all coaches following the conclusion of the meet Friday night.  Final Results will be available at the conclusion of the meet on Saturday.
