SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- After making the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2008 last season, the Augustana volleyball team is looking to make back-to-back appearances.
Winners of 27 games in 2016, the Vikings return five starters and 10 letter winners to their 2017 squad, under the direction of first-year head coach

Augustana travels to Golden, Colo. Wednesday and will officially begin the 2017 season Friday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. against CSU San Bernardino in the Oredigger Classic.
With the final preseason practice occurring Sunday, it's time to get to know the Vikings leading up to game day.
Senior setter
Alex Banker has a plethora of experience in an Augustana uniform. The Omaha, Neb. native has appeared in 65 matches dating back to her freshman year. As a sophomore, Banker had 584 assists which ranked highest on the team by over 100 assists. Her 22 service aces were second-best on the team while posting a .922 serving percentage.
