SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – With three practices down, the Augustana Volleyball team is getting into a grove under first-year head coach Jennifer Jacobs.

The Vikings return a veteran team in 2017, including four seniors in Ashley Wilson, Alex Banker, Bailey Koch, who was selected to the All-NSIC First team, and 2016 libero of the year Tahlyr Banks. For the second year in a row, the NSIC named Banks Augustana's 2017 "Player to Watch."

Coach Jacobs talked with GoAugie.com Wednesday morning and gave an update on how Augustana continues to improve early on in fall camp.

The Vikings launch their 2017 campaign when they travel to the Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colo. Friday, Sep. 1 at 2 p.m. and take on CSU San Bernardino.
