SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana University Volleyball reports to fall camp Sunday, Aug. 13 with the first practice of the 2017 season scheduled for the following day at 10 a.m.

Jennifer Jacobs welcomes 16 student athletes to fall camp in 2017, including 10 letter winners and five returning starters.
"I'm very excited to get things going," Jacobs said. "The team has been working hard all summer long, and I'm looking forward to seeing that hard work pay off during camp."
The Vikings are led by four seniors in
Ashley Wilson,
Alex Banker,
Bailey Koch, who was selected to the All-NSIC First team, and 2016 libero of the year
Tahlyr Banks. For the second year in a row, the NSIC named Banks Augustana's 2017 "Player to Watch."
"Our upperclassman are very experienced," Jacobs said. "They've been great leaders for our girls this summer, and I can't wait to see that translate into the season."
The Vikings launch their 2017 campaign when they travel to the Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colo. Friday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. and take on CSU San Bernardino.
Augustana's home opener is set for Wednesday, Sep. 6 at 7:30 p.m. versus Texas A&M – Kingsville.
The Vikings were picked to finish fourth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll after receiving 172 points and one first-place vote.
Winners of 27 games in 2016, Augustana finished tied for second in the NSIC and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2008.
