BURNSVILLE, MINN. - Three Augustana volleyball student-athletes have been awarded with all-conference honors, the NSIC announced Thursday morning.
Tahlyr Banks was tabbed the conference's Libero of the year and earned NSIC first team all-conference honors, while outside hitter
Courtney Place and middle hitter
Ashley Wilson earned second team all-conference honors.
Banks, a senior out of Omaha, Neb., who has won back-to-back NSIC Libero of the Year awards, has muscled 542 digs and 5.26 digs per set this season. Banks also holds a .988 serve receive percentage this season. She became Augustana's all-time digs leader earlier this year in the win over St. Cloud State, breaking Abby Schmidt's record of 2,004. Banks currently has 2,317Â digs in her career over 444Â sets of volleyball. Banks has been named to the all-conference team three times in her career.Â

Wilson, a senior out of Sioux Falls, S.D., has tallied 261 kills on the season while using a team-best .327 attack percentage, a mark that ranks ninth in the conference. The middle hitter also leads the team with 34 service aces, which ranks sixth in the NSIC. She's added 84 total blocks and 66 digs during her 2017 campaign.This is the third all-conference honor of Wilson's career.Â

Place, a junior from Okabena, Minn., leads the Vikings and is second in the conference with 392 kills. The outside hitter averages 3.84 kills per set which is the sixth best average in the conference. Additionally, she's recorded 266 digs and 50 total blocks in 2017. Place has recorded career-highs in five different categories this season, highlighted by her 26 kills vs. Upper Iowa and her .462 attack percentage at U-Mary. Place has been named to an all-conference team for the second time in her career.Â
The Vikings return to action this Friday, Nov. 10 when they take on No. 6 Minnesota Duluth at 6 p.m. in the Elmen Center.
