BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Shelby Selland, a junior center for the Augustana women's basketball team, has been named the NSIC player of the week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The Letcher, S.D. native averaged 15 points and 9.5 rebounds and shot over 60 percent from the field in two games last week for the Vikings. She also connected on 4-of-6 three-pointers to shoot 67 percent from deep.

She Scored 17 points with 12 rebounds, two blocks and two assists in a 72-57 win over Truman State and added 13 points and seven boards with two more blocks and assists in a 94-54 win over William Penn.

This is Selland's first conference player of the week honor in her career.
