SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana University head swimming coach Lindsie Micko has announced dates for summer swimming camps. Three different camps will be held during the summer at the Augustana swimming pool in the Elmen Center.
 
The first two camps, Camp I (June 3-5) and Camp II (June 17-19) are designed for swimmers ages 9-18. The camps will offer kicking drills and technique advice to improve all four strokes as well as turns for all strokes and IM. There will also be video review of strokes with one of the coaches.
 
Camp III (August 19-21) will be a training camp to prepare for the upcoming season. Swimmers (ages 12-18) will learn how to train at the highest level for maximum performance.

Augustana University announced the addition of women's swimming as its 19th varsity sport on April 21, 2015. Augustana will begin competition during the 2016-17 academic year. Lindsie Micko was named head coach of the Viking swimming program on July 8, 2015.
 
Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Augustana University is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
