SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana University men's basketball team will be honored at Saturday's football game against Minnesota State. Members of the 2016 National Championship team will be in attendance to receive their championship rings.
 
Fans will also be introduced to newcomers on the 2016-17 men's basketball roster.  
 
The entire 2015-16 team will be in attendance, with the exception of the 2016 Division II National Player of the Year Daniel Jansen, who is currently playing professionally overseas in Belgium.
 
Augustana men's basketball won a school record 34 games in 2015-16, finishing the year 34-2 on its way to the program's first National Championship. The Vikings won their second straight NSIC Regular Season and Tournament Championships before winning the NCAA Central Region Tournament for the first time in school history.
 
Augustana set single season records for points (3,250), scoring average (90.3), field goals made (1,117), 3-point field goals made (367), free throws made (649), rebounds (1,379) and assists (684) last season.
