Vikings remain in 11th after second round at NCAA Championships

RESULTS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –
Augustana shot a 321 in today's second round of the NCAA Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla., and is in 11th place at 73-over-par 649 (328-321). Nova Southeastern continues to lead all teams after two rounds at 10-over-par 586 (292-294).

Daniela Ortiz of Nova Southeastern leads all individuals with a two-under-par 142 (67-75). 

Marisa Toivonen shot the lowest round for the Vikings this afternoon, firing a one-over-par 73 to move up to a tie for 18th-place at seven-over-par 151 (78-73). Toivonen started the day in 32nd place but fired three birdies on the back-nine holes to finish the day one-over-par.

Emily Kvidera, who started the day in 16th-place individually, was one shot better in round two shooting a three-over-par 75. Kvidera is tied with Toivonen for 18th overall at seven-over-par 151 (76-75).

Allie Ostrander moved up one spot on the individual leader board and is in 66th place with a 29-over-par 173 (89-84). Jennifer Pederson is tied for 67th with a 30-over-par 174 (85-89) while Maggie Leland is in 72nd at 50-over-par 194 (95-99).

The third round of the NCAA Championships will get underway at 9:30 a.m. CT tomorrow at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
