Men's tennis falls 6-0 in season finale to Nebraska-Kearney

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.
- Augustana men's tennis season came to a close with a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Nebraska-Kearney.  The Vikings finish the season 5-6 and the Lopers move forward with an 18-6 record. 
 
Mitchell Barr dropped a tight match at the top singles spot in three sets.  Barr won the first set in a tiebreaker, but couldn't snag either of the final two sets, falling by scores of 7-6 (4), 3-6, 11-9. 
 
Jared Hofer was one of two more Vikings to finish their singles matches and lost a tight first set 7-5 and bowed out 6-1 in the second.  Dane Rasmussen couldn't pull out a victory at No. 6 singles and lost 6-1, 6-2.
 
Barr paired with Collin Noldner at No. 1 doubles and fell 8-5.  Hofer teamed up with Jackson Buchanan for the second doubles pairing, and earned one more game, but couldn't grab a victory, losing 8-6.  Rasmussen and Brock Baade combined for the No. 3 doubles team but were outmatched by their Loper counterparts in an 8-3 losing affair.
