SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - No. 24 Augustana (24-6) travels to Topeka, Kan. to face No. 21 Concordia-St. Paul (23-6) in the first round of the NCAA Central Region Tournament. The Vikings earned the No. 6 seed and will face the third-seeded Golden Bears on Friday, March 15 at 12 p.m.
This is the fourth time this season that the two programs will face each other. The Vikings lost the first two meetings, helping Concordia-St. Paul to the NSIC regular season title. Augustana then avenged both losses by defeating the Golden Bears in the NSIC tournament semifinals, 55-43. The Vikings went on to win the NSIC Tournament Championship and secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
