NEW ORLEANS - The Augustana women's indoor track and field team dropped three spots to No. 19 in the national rankings released Tuesday by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. In the Central Region rankings, the Viking women dropped one place and the men stayed the same for both teams to check in at No. 7.
The men have not been nationally ranked this season.
Aduo Omot is ranked fourth nationally in the men's 800-meter run (1:51.89) and Katie Guse is ninth in the high jump (five feet, 7.75 inches).
Augustana competes at the Ted Nelson Classic in Mankato, Minn., this weekend.
