SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana soccer team continues its preparation for the upcoming season this weekend with a pair of exhibition matches on the road. On Friday, the Vikings will travel to St. Joseph, Mo., to play Missouri Western State and then head to Omaha, Neb. for a Saturday match against Nebraska-Omaha.
Augustana will play the Griffons at 2 p.m. and the Mavericks at noon.
This marks the second weekend of action for the Vikings as they defeated Dakota Wesleyan 3-1 last Friday in exhibition play.
The Vikings open regular season play in Durango, Colo., on Sept. 3 at 4:30 p.m. against Mesa State (Colo.). Sept. 18 marks the first conference match for the Vikings as they host the University of Mary at 11 a.m.
