Emily Kvidera is in second place individually.
The Vikings tallied a team score of 327 on Wednesday, shooting 43 over par. Augie is just two strokes behind conference-foe, Minnesota State, who shot a 325 on the first day. Nova Southeastern leads the tournament with a team score of 298.
Kvidera carded a 72 after the first round of play, putting her in second place. She is just one stroke behind the leader, Maria Luz Besio of Newberry.
Kelly Lauer is tied for 39th after shooting an 81 on Wednesday.
Kate Tobin is just behind after shooting an 83. This makes her tied for 50th.
Kelli Lowry is tied for 68th and shot a 91 while
Jennifer Benoy is tied for 71st after shooting a 93.
The tournament will continue tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. (CT).
