The Augustana women's golf team took second place at the Minnesota State Invitational this weekend in Lake City, Minn. Freshman
Emily Kvidera was Augie's top golfer, finishing second.
The Vikings shot a 652 as a team, nine strokes behind the pace set by Minnesota State, who won the event with a 643.
Two Vikings finished in the top 10 while four were in the top 25. Kvidera's score of 153 was just three strokes behind Laura Pettersen of Concordia-St. Paul, who shot a 150.
Also in the top 10 was
Kate Tobin, who shot a 161 to finish tied for seventh.
Kelli Lowry was 21st, carding a 171, and
Jennifer Benoy was 23rd with a 174.
The Vikings will play again this weekend at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships in Brandon, S.D.
