The Augustana men's golf team is currently in fifth place after day one of the Winona State Invitational played at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska on Sunday.
The team carded a 310 on Sunday, just one stroke behind fourth place team, Minnesota, Crookston and 10 strokes away from the leader, Bemidji State.
Individually, Jon Emerson is tied for fifth after shooting a 74.
Also in the top 20 is Eric Hieb and Julean Michaels who are tied for 15th and 19th, respectively. Hieb recorded a 78 while Michaels was just one stroke behind with a 79.
Jake Sanders of Minnesota, Crookston is the leader after carding a 71 on Sunday.
The tournament will conclude on Monday.
