Final Results
The Augustana men's golf team finished in 16th place at the NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover Monday at Wild Horse Golf Course in Gothenburg, Neb.
The Vikings had their best round of the tournament on Monday as they shot a 327 to finish with a 36-hole total of 996. Minnesota State University, Mankato won the team title with a score of 925. Nebraska-Kearney was second at 926.
Joel Thompson provided the highlight of the day for Augustana. Thompson hit a hole-in-one on the ninth hole during Monday's final round. The teams played 36 holes on Monday.
Jon Emerson led Augustana by tying for 43rd place at 242.
Eric Hieb was 2 shots back in a tie for 47th place at 244. Thompson was next in 79th place at 258, while
Adam Walsh carded a 259 to finish 80th.
Luke Robison rounded out the group in 83rd place at 269.
The Vikings will compete in the NSIC Championships on Sunday and Monday, October 4-5 in Hastings, Minn.
