First Round Results
The Augustana women's golf team is in a seventh-place tie after the first round of the 12th Annual Mustang Invitational Saturday at the Marshall Golf Club in Marshall, Minn.
The Vikings carded a 329 to sit in a tie for seventh place with Winona State. Gustavus Adolphus and Wisconsin-Eau Claire share the first-round lead after each team shot 317 on Saturday. Despite being in seventh place, Augustana is just 8 shots out of third place, currently held by Upper Iowa at 321.
Individually,
Emily Kvidera and
Kate Tobin are tied for fourth place after each player fired a 78.
Kelly Lauer is tied for 49th place at 86, while
Kelli Lowry is tied for 54th place at 87.
Laura Strautz rounded out the Viking scores with an 89, which has her tied for 62nd place.
Three Vikings are competing as individuals.
Jennifer Benoy is tied for 58th place at 88, while
Emily Holck is tied for 62nd place at 89.
Molly Leland is tied for 67th place at 91.
The final round will be Sunday.
