Augustana volleyball player Ellen Andrews has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 First Team. This marks the second time that Andrews has received this award.

The senior right side hitter from Bancroft, Neb. has started in 21 of 27 matches this season. She leads the Vikings offense, averaging 2.86 kills per game. Andrews has amassed 1,208 kills in her career and has been named to two Academic All-NCC teams and was Academic All-NSIC in 2008. 

Andrews is double majoring in exercise science and fitness management. She also will graduate with minors in psychology and business and had the second-highest grade point average on the All-District 7 First Team with a 3.97.

By being a first-team selection, Andrews now advances to the national Academic All-American ballot.
